Executive Event Ambassadors

Utah Valley University Executive Event Ambassadors serve as the face of UVU at key events, support philanthropic initiatives, and develop personal leadership skills. Scholarships are available to executive event ambassadors who meet the following requirements:

  • Must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Must be a Sophomore or higher
  • Are full-time students
  • Are a Utah Resident
  • Receive passing grades in all their classes up to 12 credits
  • Adhere to the UVU student code of conduct
  • We ask that Ambassadors be available every month on the 3rd Wednesday from 2-3 p.m. for trainings and updates.
  • We ask Ambassadors to be available for training retreat at the beginning of the fall semester.
  • We ask for all Ambassadors to attend at Commencement and Convocations, except for those that are graduating.
  • We ask for all Ambassadors to attend the annual President’s Scholarship Ball.
  • Ambassadors serve from May 1 through April 30.

  4. Letter of Recommendation can be received from teachers, counselors, and other important people in a student's life. It will serve as a powerful testament to a student's past and future achievements. Academic advisors want to get to know the student’s character, other than your grades. Your letter of recommendation should show your abilities, leadership qualities and volunteer work. The purpose of a letter of recommendation is to express the student’s accomplishments and their potential to succeed in the future. The Letter should highlight the student’s strengths and their potential to succeed at the university they plan to attend. The letter should talk about the student’s academic performance and how he manages schoolwork and challenging material.
