J. Ann Richardson Student Leadership Endowed Scholarship

J. Ann Richardson Student Leadership Endowed Scholarship

The J. Ann Richardson Student Leadership Endowed Scholarship was established by student leadership in 2007 to benefit Utah Valley University students with experience working with a student organization.
J. Ann Richardson worked for Utah Valley State College for more than two decades. Over the course of her career she held many positions, but two of the most notable were working as an advisor for clubs and student activities and as director of student life. Going beyond her work responsibilities, Ann served as an advisor to the student council for many years. She was very involved with Student Government and helped plan reunions and alumni events.

In 2001 The UVU Alumni Association recognized Ann with the Wilson W. Sorensen Lifetime Achievement Award for her dedication and passion for serving students. A few years later, a group of students raised money during UVU’s Fulton Challenge to create a scholarship in Ann’s name.

The J. Ann Richardson Student Leadership Endowed Scholarship has helped many students passionate about student leadership and honors Ann’s service and dedication by shaping leaders of the future.
