AT&T Latino Student Scholarship
AT&T established the Latino Student Scholarship in 2015 to UVU students who demonstrate financial need and are of Latino descent. Students must take at least 12 credit hours during the awarded semester and maintain a 3.0 GPA.
The history of AT&T dates back to the invention of the telephone itself. The Bell Telephone company was established in 1979 by Alexander Graham Bell, the inventor of the telephone. Over the years AT&T has grown tremendously but has maintained its commitment to the development, growth, and improvement of our country. The company has invested billions into the economy, providing jobs to over 200,000 people in the U.S. alone. Apart from supporting higher education, the company is committed to supporting the veterans who make our country stronger and to providing disaster relief support to those who need it the most.
